Here at MCH we are always striving to find new ways to get our products into the hands of our customers. This year we invested time, money, and and a lot of sweat equity to join the car show scene. First however we needed some new wheels...trailer wheels.
With the addition of a 20' enclosed trailer we were ready to load up and hit our first show of the season... #vintagetorquefest in Dubuque, IA.
TorqueFest is more than just a mere car show...rather a weekend extravaganza dedicated to all things Rat Rod. Rock music, pin-up girls, racing, flame throwing and of course don't forget row after row of amazing machines. Here are just a few...
The show certainly didn't disappoint...great turnout with music and events that continued long into the night.
The show was an overwhelming success in sales and also making new connections in the industry. It was great getting to meet and talk with our customers face to face. We got a lot of great feedback from the everyone and did it while completely submersed within rodding culture.
TorqueFest was just the first of many shows we will be attending this season. In the coming week we will be posting our show schedule. Check back often to view the schedule and watch for us to turn up at a show near you.
At MCH we are always trying to improve and streamline the process. In Henry Ford's day the technology was expensive while labor was cheap. Today that scenario has been turned on its head. Even with the opposite now true our design team feels a strong pull to retain the old traditions even as we capitalize on the amazing technology at our fingertips.
This past year we had an amazing opportunity to partner with the local pinstripe artist of 515 Pinstriping. As shelves clear out from our first 515 partnership we are left with a question.
Did we hit the mark? The vintage distressed cans as well as the 515 cans require much more hands on work. This hand made attention to detail no doubt adds to their cool factor, but also the bottom line(raises base MSRP to $45 - $65)
So rather than waste time beating our heads against the wall, we went to the source...you! We would like to know what you think. How did these designs grab you? If the quality is high and the design is on target...how much sway does the price have on your decision? We would love your feedback, drop a line right here in the blog or any of our social sites as it comes around.
As shown in the shirt on the left, here at MCH we strive to establish ourselves daily. Making each day count is vital to our success, both in getting your products to you and staying ahead of the curve. While reviewing the progress of the shirts and hoodies it was all to apparent that something just wasn't right. After quality testing, product review, and design review the MCH team decided to wash the entire line and start fresh!
Starting today a slow but consistant re-launch will begin in our clothing division under its new name Hard Wear. These are just a few samples of the products to come. Cleaner designs on much higher quality and desirable cuts of your favorite t-shirts, hoodies, and work shirts. Also be on the lookout as we bring out embroidered hats and skull caps.
